Brief: Mountain View Baptist to host vocalist Kenny Munds

Musician Kenny Munds returns to Mountain View Baptist Church on Sunday, Jan. 31, at 5:30 p.m. The former lead vocalist for Brush Arbor will share his music, his faith and his ministry to prisoners.

Munds has received two awards from the Academy of Country Music. He has appeared at the Grand Ole Opry and opened shows for such country music legends as Johnny Cash, Charlie Rich, Marty Robbins and Merle Haggard. The Kenny Munds Ministries ministers in jails and prisons throughout the country.

Refreshments and a Gospel Jam will follow this free concert at Mt. View Baptist Church, 395 Pony Place, Dewey. Take Highway 69 to Kachina, go right five blocks to Pony Place, and left two blocks to the church.
