A few of Bradshaw's Bears managed to soar with the Flagstaff Eagles at this past Tuesday's wrestling meet in Prescott Valley.
Chase Sullins, wrestling in the 189-pound weight class, pinned his hapless opponent in just 49 seconds.
"I was going for a sequence (of moves), because it's different during a match than in practice, but he wasn't responding," Sullins said. "So I just went for the pin."
Alex Chilicky also pinned his opponent in the first period, in 1:29.
Lucas Fouss won with a pin in the second period.
Gabe Legler pinned his 112-pound Flagstaff foe.
Hal Wendlinger triumphed in a 10-2 decision.
The younger wrestlers got in some exhibition matches as well, in preparation for their JV/Frosh tourney Saturday.
The Bears won't compete again until Jan. 6 at the Mingus multi-meet.
